The War is Over

War will Ever be with Us until the End

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. Matthew 24:6-7

War Comes from Within

Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. James 4:1-2

 God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.  James 4:6

All War is the Result of our War with God

So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. Gen. 4:6-7

The Way Back to God is Blocked

… all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

… when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power  2 Thess. 1:7-9

We Need a Savior to have Peace with God.

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2:14

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity … so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,  Eph. 2:14-15

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

                                                                                                               John 16:33

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. Col. 1:20

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1    

The War is Over, Christ has Won the Victory

Now we battle against the lies and false accusations (half-truths) of the devil.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,  Eph. 6:13,14

We Fight from Victory not for Victory 

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6
