The Value of Pressing In

The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it. Luke 16:16

Your place in God’s Kingdom is accessible…
but not everyone will enter in.

Fulfilling God’s plan for your life is achievable…
but not everyone will accomplish it.

You need to press in!

Your God-given purpose and success are held in a "Mild-proof" bottle.

I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in… Rev. 3:15-16, 19-20 NLT

Turn from indifference and be diligent.

…I meditate within my heart, and my spirit makes diligent search. Psalm 77:6

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.  Mt. 5:6

Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name. Psalm 86:11

A united heart is a pure heart.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Mt. 5:8

You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jer. 29:13

And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. Deuteronomy 30:6

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. Mark 12:30

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Prov. 3:5-6

Laziness is a cancer on your spiritual pursuit.

The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich. Proverbs 13:4

He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. He who gathers in summer is a wise son; he who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame. Prov. 10:4-5

The lazy man will not plow because of winter; he will beg during harvest and have nothing. Proverbs 20:4

He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.  Ecclesiastes 11:4

Sow a seed of service.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might. Ecclesiastes 9:10

Your gift makes room for you.

A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men. Proverbs 18:16

He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.  Ecclesiastes 11:4

… you do not know the works of God who makes everything. In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good. Eccl. 11:5-6

Your harvest is commensurate with your sowing.

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38
