The Ch_rch Isn’t the same Without U

Only what you do for God and others is what actually counts.

Church is not something you go to. It’s a family you belong to.

MOST PEOPLE ARE H.A.L.T (Hungry – Angry – Lonely – Tired)

Church is not the same without U.
U are not the same without the Church.

“You know that in this world kings are tyrants, and officials lord it over the people beneath them. 26 But among you it should be quite different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must become your slave. 28 For even I, the Son of Man, came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many.” Mt. 20:25-28 NIV

Jesus said: The greatest among you is the servant.

The 10% principle.

Church is the hope of the world.

C – Community

Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV): “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Matthew 16:18, Jesus says, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

H – Helpfulness

1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

U – Unity

Ephesians 4:3 “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

1 Corinthians 12:12 “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.”

R – Responsibility

Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Romans 12:4-5 “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”

C – Commitment

Colossians 3:23-24 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

H – Heart

Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Matthew 22:37-40 “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Commit to community with a helpful heart and take responsibility.

The Church’s Mission is Beyond Personal Salvation.

Community life is essential for spiritual accountability and growth.

U need the church.
