How to Shine as a Light in a Dark Culture

1. Endure Hardship and Disentangle Yourself from the World

You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. 2 Tim. 2:3-4

2. Practice to Compete and Follows your Convictions 

And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. 2 Tim. 2:5

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.   Daniel 1:8
