Once you have determined the destination, you must determine how you are going to get there.

Our flesh does not know how to implement the desires of our spirit

 And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.                                                                                           Jn.14:4-6

 Jesus said the solution was to watch and pray

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41

Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead and Christ will give you light. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Eph. 5:13-16 

To watch we must:

• Awake
• Arise
• Walk
• Redeem the time

Determine the road you are going to take

A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Prov. 16:9

To make spiritual goals tangible

1. Break them in specific segments
2. Determine them actions you can take
3. Make them time-sensitive
