How to Stress Less

Stress is the feeling of being overwhelmed or unable to cope with mental or emotional pressure.

In God’s presence there is no stress.

When we learn to stress less and trust God more, we learn to live according to God’s plan and purpose.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness and everything coming together for good will come and settle you down.

1. Pause

“Don’t worry about anything…” Phil. 4:6

Time of Pause is a Time of Recalibration.

Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” Mark 6:31

2. Pray

“…pray about everything. Tell God what you need…” Phil 4:6

Prayer is a way to reprogram your mind.

3. Proclaim

“…and thank him for all he has done.” Phil 4:6

Gratitude and declaration are powerful weapons against the enemy.

4. Press On

“I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Phil 3:14

Press on with Faith, Courage and Hope for tomorrow.
