Drawn Out to Fulfill your Calling
So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months. 3 But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river's bank.
...she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. So she called his name Moses, saying, "Because I drew him out of the water." Ex. 2:2-3,10
I believe the middle name of everyone here is Moses.
Meaning of Moses: "to draw out"
Moses had a bad experience with his identity and calling.
Then he said, "Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?" Ex. 2:14
God called Moses out of the bushes.
Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn."4 So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am." 10 Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt." Ex. 3:3-4,10
Moses was caught in a bush of excuses.
10 Then Moses said to the Lord, "O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but l am slow of speech and slow of tongue."
11 So the Lord said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? 12 Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say."
13 But he said, "O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send."
14 So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and He said: "Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well." Ex. 4:10 -14
